All one big question

WOW! This year has gone sooo quickly. When i look at the list of all the things we have done, i can’t see how we fitted them all in. The fist lesson of English i remember talking about our names. That was the first time i remeber getting to know some of the new people in my new class. People in the class told us of the stories of where their names came from.  That was my first memorie of English and it was a great one. Other memoiries of writting my first propor asay, reading Millie and the night Heron, doing role plays, reading Pavana, have Middle Eastern food for lunch, they are just a few of the great memories i have from English! Imagine how many I have from other aspects of my schooling. So you might hear from me more next year, i am not sure. But bye for now!!

This is what I have thought about life lately. I am constantly asking questions about everything! But in the end I just end up where I started. In the end i think that you can’t know the aswer to everything so i just have to keep learning about what they are teaching us and know is curtain. But then i think, ‘ who are they? how do ‘they’ know what they are teaching me is correct?’ and there you go another question. See what i mean? - there i go again.

This weekend, the whole of Melbourne will stop for a horse race. For those of you reading from another country, Melbourne cup happens every year on the first Tuesday of November. The first cup was help in 1861. Lucky for us, the locals of Victoria, we get a public holiday every year.  

Hello, my name is Nikki. Welcome to my Blog!

I live in Melbourne, Australia. I am in year seven and go to a all girls school. I come from a family of four and have one older brother.  

My family runs a dance school, so I have beeen dancing since I was three and a half. I do classes three to four times a week. i do three styles, Classical, Character and Contemporary. My favourite is propably contemporoary, but I really enjoy all of them for different reasons. The school doesn’t do compertions, but we do lots of performances. At the end of the year we have an annual performance,  it is my favourite time of year.  

I also play soccer during the winter. We play games against other teams on a Sunday. It is heaps of fun!

I love to do art and anything artistic. I get this from my dad, he does heaps of costumes and sets for the school. I am really lucky to be able to get the opportunities to get close to wha goes on in the theatre.
